Her two funnels, heavy tripod foremast with its spotting top, tall mainmast and rigging, forward gun and boats under their davits all show clearly, with a flag at her jackstaff and another at her stern.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eLaid down at Portsmouth Dockyard in 1917 but not launched until 1921, she was finally completed in July 1925 and sent to the East Indies Station with the 4th Light Cruiser Squadron, sometimes flying an admiral’s flag. Captain Bruce Fraser, later First Sea Lord, took command in 1929, and in 1930 her representatives and Royal Marine band attended the coronation of Haile Selassie. Rearmed with nine 6 inch guns and recommissioned in June 1938, she was carrying troops and stores near Bodø during the Norwegian campaign when she ran onto the Faksen Shoal on the night of 17th May 1940. Her crew were all taken off safely and the wreck was torpedoed by the \u003ca title=\"Royal Navy Destroyers Photo prints\"
