The White Ensign flies at her stern and signal flags hang from her foremast, a few sailors stand on the flight deck and forecastle, and green leaves edge into the bottom right corner of the frame.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eLaid down by Scotts at Greenock in 1961, Euryalus was launched in June 1963 and commissioned in September 1964 as one of the first batch of Leanders. A modernisation at Devonport, completed in 1976, took away her twin 4.5 inch gun to make room for the Ikara anti-submarine missile launcher she carries here, and the following year she lay at Spithead for the Silver Jubilee Fleet Review.
