Signal flags fly from her foremast and the White Ensign streams aft, while small harbour launches run alongside and the warehouses and factories of the far bank, among them the big Bernet steel works sign, line the waterfront behind her.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eBuilt by Cammell Laird at Birkenhead and launched in October 1955, Tenby commissioned in December 1957 as one of the first Type 12 anti-submarine frigates, and in 1962 and 1963 she was commanded by Captain Terence Lewin, later Chief of the Defence Staff during the Falklands War. She went on to serve with the Dartmouth Training Squadron, taking officer cadets to sea, and in 1967 she appeared in the James Bond film You Only Live Twice. She paid off in 1972, and after a planned sale to Pakistan fell through she was broken up at Briton Ferry in 1977.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eYou can read more about the history of HMS
