The white Croatian aircraft lead in a staggered arrow towards the left of the frame, with the red Hawks stepped back and to the right, every aircraft trailing long lines of smoke across deep blue-green water, tinted red at the top of the formation and blue at the bottom. The flypast took place over the coast near Zadar and Biograd na Moru during Exercise Springhawk, the team’s spring training deployment to Croatia ahead of their 60th display season.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThe Red Arrows were formed late in 1964 to replace a series of squadron display teams, gave their first public display in May 1965 and have flown the Hawk since 1979. After many years at RAF Scampton they moved to RAF Waddington in October 2022, and in 2024 they marked their diamond anniversary season. The Wings of Storm were formed in 2004 by Croatian Air Force flying instructors at Zemunik, near Zadar, and take their name from Operation Storm of 1995; they have flown as a six-ship team since
