The jet is seen squarely from below in plan view, nose to the left, so the whole shape of the aircraft is laid out across the wide frame. The swept wings carry a roundel near each tip, and broad white chevrons run across both wings and down the fuselage. The red paintwork stands out against a pale, overcast sky.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThe team grew out of the Yellowjacks, a Folland Gnat team flown by instructors from No. 4 Flying Training School in yellow aircraft. It took its red colours and its new name for the 1965 season, the name nodding to the Black Arrows of No. 111 Squadron.
