They are lined up so closely that the upright frame shows them almost as copies of one another, with Union Flag fins carrying the “60” season marking, “AIR FORCE” along the fuselages and the pilots visible under their canopies. Only the lowest jet trails smoke, a short wisp of white, against a flat grey sky. At the same show the team dedicated its \u003ca title=\"Spitfire Photo prints\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hampshireprints.co.uk\/collections\/raf-fixed-wing-photo-prints\"\u003eSpitfire\u003c\/a\u003e formation to Squadron Leader Mark Long of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThe Red Arrows were formed in 1964 at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire and have since flown more than 5,000 displays at home and abroad. Their Hawk T1s are close to the standard \u003ca title=\"RAF Photo prints\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hampshireprints.co.uk\/collections\/royal-air-force-photo-prints\"\u003eRAF\u003c\/a\u003e trainer. The most visible change is the pod under each fuselage, which would carry a cannon on other Hawks but here holds the diesel and the red and blue dyes used to make the
