HMS Invincible R05 Invincible Class Aircraft Carrier March 2004 Photo Print
HMS Invincible (R05), a Royal Navy Invincible Class aircraft carrier, steams below a Sea King ASaC Mk7 of 849 Naval Air Squadron on 25 March 2004, at the end of Exercise Joint Winter 04. The helicopter banks towards the camera with its radar dome swung out on its arm, while the carrier runs along beneath it showing her starboard side and R05 on the island, with a second helicopter parked on deck forward of the island.
Joint Winter 04 ran in Norwegian waters from January to March 2004, while Royal Marines of 42 Commando trained ashore in the Arctic winter. The Sea King Mk7 was nicknamed the 'Bagger' after the inflatable dome over its Searchwater radar, and 849 Naval Air Squadron's flights gave the carrier early warning of low-flying aircraft and surface contacts well beyond the horizon.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
