RAF Typhoon Diamond Nine Formation November 2015 Photo Print
Nine Royal Air Force Typhoons fly in a diamond over a deep blue sea on 19 November 2015, seen from above with every aircraft clear against the water. At the centre is a Typhoon in Second World War brown and green camouflage coded GN-A, marked for the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, while several of the grey aircraft around it carry coloured tail art. The formation brought together one aircraft from each Typhoon unit of the day.
The diamond was drawn from 1, 2 and 6 Squadrons at RAF Lossiemouth, from 3, 11, 29 and 41 Squadrons at RAF Coningsby, and from 1435 Flight in the Falkland Islands, with the anniversary aircraft in the middle. The code GN-A recalls the 249 Squadron Hurricane of Flight Lieutenant James Nicolson, the only Fighter Command pilot awarded the Victoria Cross. Both 11 and 29 Squadrons marked their centenaries in 2015.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
