Royal Navy Guard Marching Windsor Castle December 2020 Photo Print
A file of Royal Navy sailors marches away from the camera inside Windsor Castle in December 2020, their bayonets fixed and rifles at the slope. They wear long dark greatcoats with white belts, gaiters and cap covers, and the sign for the Norman Gate is visible on the stonework ahead of them. Low winter sunlight falls across the road in the foreground while the castle walls behind stay in shade.
Mounting the guard at Windsor is normally the work of the Household Division, and in early December 2020 it passed to sailors drawn from ships and establishments across the country. The Brigade Major had first put them through an inspection at Victoria Barracks in the town before they were allowed to take over. Once on duty they split into two divisions so that the castle was guarded around the clock.
This print is ideal for the sailors who stood the Windsor guard in December 2020 and anyone with an interest in the Royal Navy's ceremonial role.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
