British Army 16 Air Assault Brigade Parachuting June 2024 Photo Print
Two British Army paratroopers drift down under olive green round canopies into a Normandy field on 5 June 2024, their equipment containers hanging on lines below and the lower man almost at ground level. They were among more than 400 multinational paratroopers from 16 Air Assault Brigade who jumped onto the historic drop zones in tribute to the airborne soldiers of D-Day. Behind them, a line of poplar-like trees crosses a flat landscape under a blue summer sky with a few small clouds.
16 Air Assault Brigade was formed on 1 September 1999 from 5 Airborne Brigade and 24 Airmobile Brigade, joining parachute infantry with Army Air Corps helicopters under one command. The brigade deployed to Iraq in 2003 and went into Helmand Province in Afghanistan in 2006, and it remains the Army's high-readiness airborne force. Its number honours the wartime 1st and 6th Airborne Divisions.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
