British Army 4 Regiment AAC Gazelle Bardufoss Norway March 2006 Photo Print
A Gazelle of 4 Regiment Army Air Corps, British Army, flies across a snow-covered mountainside above Bardufoss in northern Norway on 3 March 2006, near the end of Exercise Clockwork 06. Bright sunshine lights the green and grey helicopter, its ARMY lettering and roundel, and the crew inside the glazed cabin, with a clear blue sky above the peaks.
Bardufoss lies well inside the Arctic Circle, and British helicopter crews have gone there for decades on the Clockwork winter exercises to learn mountain flying in deep snow and short daylight, while engineers learn to keep aircraft working in extreme cold. The Gazelle's small size, speed and good all-round view from its glazed cabin suited it to the observation and liaison work the Army Air Corps asked of it, both in the field and on training exercises such as this.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
