British Army Lynx Helicopter South of Basra Airport November 2003 Photo Print
An Army Air Corps Lynx of the British Army comes in low over a desert road south of Basra Airport on 25 November 2003, to meet an RAF Regiment vehicle patrol. A gunner in desert combat dress stays on the rear machine gun of the sand-coloured Land Rover while another soldier stands beside it on the road, and a haze of dust hangs over the desert.
The Westland Lynx joined the Army Air Corps in the late 1970s, first as an anti-tank helicopter armed with TOW missiles and later as a utility and reconnaissance aircraft. The skid-equipped AH7 served in Northern Ireland, the Balkans and Iraq before retiring in 2015. A specially modified Lynx set the world speed record for a conventional helicopter in 1986.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
