British Army 2 Royal Yorkshire Robotic Platoon Vehicle March 2024 Photo Print
Soldiers of the 2nd Battalion, The Royal Yorkshire Regiment, British Army, sprint between the buildings of a mock town on 11 March 2024, covered by an uncrewed Robotic Platoon Vehicle carrying a mounted machine gun. The grey eight wheeled robot churns up a cloud of dust in the foreground, while three soldiers dash across open ground past a pair of anti tank obstacles. The training was part of Project Convergence Capstone 4 at the National Training Centre, Fort Irwin, in the Californian desert.
Project Convergence Capstone 4 was a US Army led experiment held in California in early 2024, testing how new technology could be joined up across allied armies, and British infantry working alongside armed robotic vehicles was one of the ideas tried out. The Royal Yorkshire Regiment carries a long fighting record inherited from its forebears. One of them, Company Sergeant Major Stanley Hollis of the Green Howards, won the only Victoria Cross awarded on D-Day in 1944.

We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
