British Army 16 Signal Regiment Prone Warcop September 2026 Photo Print
A soldier of 16 Signal Regiment, Royal Corps of Signals, British Army, lies prone at the foot of a tree and takes aim with an SA80 rifle during an exercise at Warcop in Cumbria on 8th September 2026. Long grass is tucked into the helmet band to break up its outline, and the yellow blank firing attachment on the muzzle shows this is a blank firing serial. The moss and pine needles of the forest floor fill the foreground, with a second soldier just visible out of focus beyond the trunk.
The Royal Corps of Signals was formed in 1920 and provides the British Army's communications and information systems. 16 Signal Regiment was stationed in Germany for many years before moving to Beacon Barracks in Stafford. Alongside that specialist role its soldiers keep up the same basic infantry skills as the rest of the Army, which is what the regiment went to Warcop to practise.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
