British Army Foxhound Crew in Hatches Bastion June 2012 Photo Print
A British Army Foxhound protected patrol vehicle stands on the sand at Camp Bastion, Helmand, Afghanistan, in June 2012, seen from the front and its left side in an upright frame. Two soldiers in helmets ride up in the roof hatches, the one at the rear manning a machine gun that points out to the right, while a recovery A-frame is strapped across the front of the vehicle over its grille. Its hull carries a mottled sand camouflage pattern, tall antennas rise against a clear blue sky, and a line of perimeter fencing runs along the low skyline behind.
When Foxhound reached Helmand that June, soldiers from a range of cap badges trained on it at Bastion, with driver testing under way before it went out on force protection tasks. Each vehicle carries a driver, a commander and four soldiers, and it can reach around 70mph on a good surface. The fleet grew quickly: after the first 200 ordered in 2010, a further 100 were requested in late 2011 and another 25 were announced in August 2012.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
