British Army FV101 Scorpion Recce Vehicle Gulf War February 1991 Photo Print
An FV101 Scorpion of the 1st (United Kingdom) Armoured Division, British Army, is seen on the flat desert on 28 February 1991, during the final advance from southern Iraq into Kuwait on the last day of Operation Desert Storm. The hull carries the black inverted V recognition marking used by coalition vehicles, the call sign 24A and the marking 2/1/R, and a Union Flag is draped over the kit piled at the back.
Scorpion was the fire support vehicle of the Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance (Tracked) family built by Alvis, which came into British service in the early 1970s. Its 76mm gun and light aluminium armour gave reconnaissance troops a fast, small vehicle that could be carried by air, and Scorpions and Scimitars of the Blues and Royals fought in the Falklands in 1982. The 76mm Scorpion was withdrawn from British service in the mid 1990s.
This print is ideal for Gulf War and British Army veterans, armoured reconnaissance crews and anyone with an interest in the CVR(T) family.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
Your order will be crafted by award-winning framing technicians based in central England, with decades of combined experience. Using the finest FUJI professional photographic papers and premium materials, they ensure exceptional print and frame quality.
Our hand-picked craftsmen and women work with state-of-the-art printing and cutting equipment, yet every frame is still assembled by hand and subject to rigorous quality checks. Their dedication consistently results in outstanding work, appreciated by many returning customers.
