British Army Soldiers from the 5th Battalion The Rifles move across the rugged landscape as the sun sets whilst conducting Exercise Cape Upholder, the exercise was carried out in the Falkland Islands alongside the Falkland Islands Defence Force and 1435 Flight Typhoon Aircraft of 905 Expeditionary Air Wing between the 29th June and 3rd July 2026. This British Army photo print captures a multi-phase field exercise combining ground manoeuvre with simulated air support, making a striking piece of modern military wall art.
The exercise marked the conclusion of 5th Battalion The Rifles' rotation as the British Forces South Atlantic Islands Roulement Infantry Company. Training included live firing from mortars, snipers and machine guns, along with a section attack to secure key enemy positions supported by simulated close air support from Typhoon Aircraft.

Q: Are your images adjusted or cropped?
A: We have tried to depict how your finished product will look, occasionally, some cropping or resizing is needed depending on the image selected, our framers use their wealth of knowledge and skill to produce the most aesthetically pleasing finish possible, this can sometimes mean that we build a slightly different shape frame from the preview shown, we guarantee that the finished product will be of similar size or larger.
