British Army Bugler Plays the Last Post June 2024 Photo Print
A British Army musician in a scarlet tunic, white belt and red-banded forage cap sounds the Last Post at Bayeux War Cemetery in Normandy on 5 June 2024, during a Service of Commemoration organised by the Royal British Legion. He stands alone on the grass before a pale stone memorial in bright sunshine, reading from a small music card, while a man in a dark suit stands in the shade of the trees behind him. A soft blur of blue fills the right of the frame.
The Last Post began as a camp call marking the end of the soldier's day, and it has long since become the Army's call of farewell at funerals and acts of remembrance. Bayeux War Cemetery is the largest Commonwealth cemetery of the Second World War in France, holding more than 4,000 Commonwealth burials, and Bayeux itself was one of the first French towns freed after the landings, on 7 June 1944.
This print is ideal for British Army veterans, military musicians, Royal British Legion members and anyone with a family connection to the Normandy campaign.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
Your order will be crafted by award-winning framing technicians based in central England, with decades of combined experience. Using the finest FUJI professional photographic papers and premium materials, they ensure exceptional print and frame quality.
Our hand-picked craftsmen and women work with state-of-the-art printing and cutting equipment, yet every frame is still assembled by hand and subject to rigorous quality checks. Their dedication consistently results in outstanding work, appreciated by many returning customers.
