British Army SCOTS DG Jackal Fires 50 Cal Oman November 2021 Photo Print
A soldier of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, British Army, fires the .50 calibre heavy machine gun mounted on top of a desert-coloured Jackal during Exercise KHANJAR OMAN 21 on 3 November 2021. The shot is taken from behind the vehicle, so you see the muzzle flash out in front, the gunner in ear defenders leaning into the gun, a second crewman in the back, and the rear of the Jackal packed with bergens, spare kit and camouflage scrim. Scrub, acacia trees and low hills fill the background.
The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards were formed in 1971 from the 3rd Carabiniers and the Royal Scots Greys, and they are Scotland's only regular cavalry regiment. The Greys' most famous moment was at Waterloo in 1815, when Sergeant Charles Ewart captured a French Eagle, and it still appears on the regiment's cap badge. By 2021 the regiment was serving in the light cavalry role from Leuchars in Fife, using the Jackal for fast, long-range reconnaissance.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
