HM Naval Base Gibraltar Dockyard From the Rock 2021 Photo Print
HM Naval Base Gibraltar and the town below the Rock are laid out in this view looking down from the heights on 7 July 2021, with the aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales berthed alongside a long harbour mole. Terracotta roofs and apartment blocks fill the foreground, the airport runway juts into the water on the right, and merchant ships lie at anchor across the Bay of Gibraltar with the hills of southern Spain beyond under a hazy summer sky.
Gibraltar has served the Royal Navy since the Rock was taken in 1704, and its dockyard and sheltered harbour at the mouth of the Mediterranean have supported British fleets through every major war since. Today the naval base is home to the Royal Navy Gibraltar Squadron and provides a logistics stop for ships passing through the Strait. For HMS Prince of Wales this call was her first visit to a port outside the United Kingdom, made while she was working up after a year of upgrades in 2020.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
