HMS Albion L14 Albion Class Amphibious Ship August 2018 Floodlit Photo Print
HMS Albion (L14), a Royal Navy Albion Class amphibious ship, lying alongside at night on 6 August 2018, three days after her arrival in Tokyo, looking up at her starboard bow from the quay. Floodlights wash the whole side of her hull, picking out the L14 pennant, the stowed anchor and the heavy mooring lines running down to the bollards, while an open side door and a line of signal flags aloft add detail against a dark, cloudy sky and a skyline of lit tower blocks.
Albion was built by BAE Systems at Barrow-in-Furness, launched in March 2001 and commissioned in June 2003 as the first of two landing platform docks, her sister being HMS Bulwark (L15). The pair replaced the veteran assault ships Fearless and Intrepid. Her name had earlier been carried by a Centaur Class carrier that served as a commando carrier in the 1960s.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
