HMS Anson S123 Astute Class Submarine February 2026 Port Side Photo Print
HMS Anson (S123), a Royal Navy Astute Class submarine, runs on the surface off Western Australia on 22nd February 2026, on her way in to HMAS Stirling. She is seen broadside from her port side under a clear sky, with the full length of her hull showing above a dark blue swell, from the sonar housing on her bow to the upper rudder standing clear of the water astern. Crew members crowd the bridge at the top of the fin and a second group stands on the fin behind them.
HMS Anson takes her name from Admiral of the Fleet George Anson, who sailed round the world in the 1740s, and follows the King George V Class battleship of the Second World War in carrying it. She is around 97 metres long and displaces about 7,400 tonnes dived, and her reactor is designed to run for her whole service life without refuelling. Her call at the Australian base near Perth was the first by a boat of her class, part of the AUKUS work to help Australia prepare to operate nuclear powered submarines of its own.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
