HMS Boreas H77 B Class Destroyer Photo Print
HMS Boreas (H77), a B Class destroyer, lies on still water under a white overcast sky with her port side to the camera and her bow to the left. She is in wartime disruptive camouflage with her pennant number H77 painted large on the hull below the bridge, flags fly from her foremast and a pair of sailors stands near the bow. The photograph is undated.
Ordered from Palmers of Jarrow on 22 March 1929, she was laid down that July, launched on 11 June 1930 and completed in February 1931, one of the B Class built between the wars. Her time as a British warship ended in February 1944, when she was transferred to the Royal Hellenic Navy, which commissioned her as Salamis on 25 March that year. She was returned to the Royal Navy at Malta in October 1951 and broken up at Rosyth in 1952.

We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
