HMS Bristol D23 Type 82 Destroyer March 1994 Photo Print
HMS Bristol (D23), a Type 82 destroyer, lies moored at Whale Island, Portsmouth, on 31 March 1994, port side on with red brick buildings and trees on the shore behind her. A flag flies at her bow, a mooring line runs from her bow to the shore, and choppy green water fills the foreground.
From 1993 Bristol served as the harbour training ship at HMS Excellent on Whale Island, used by the Royal Navy, the Sea Cadets and other youth organisations. A £4 million refit on Tyneside kept her going, and she returned to Portsmouth in April 2011. She was finally decommissioned on 28 October 2020, 47 years after she first commissioned.

We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
