HMS Bronington M1115 Ton Class Minesweeper Photo Print
HMS Bronington (M1115), a Royal Navy Ton Class minesweeper, in black and white, running along a narrow waterway with woodland and low banks on either side, her full port beam in view. A gun is mounted on her forecastle, a badge shows on her funnel, and the sweep gear and davits crowd her after deck under a heavy, clouded sky. The date and place of the photograph are not recorded.
Bronington was built of mahogany by Cook, Welton and Gemmell at Beverley, where she was launched on 19 March 1953, since a wooden hull gave little magnetic signature to trigger a mine. She first commissioned on 4 June 1954 as HMS Humber, serving the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve for four years before taking back her original name in 1958. Her best known captain was the Prince of Wales, now King Charles III, who commanded her from 9 February to 15 December 1976.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
