HMS Bulwark L15 Albion Class Amphibious Ship April 2012 Photo Print
HMS Bulwark (L15), an Albion Class amphibious ship, heads almost straight at the camera in April 2012, bow on and slightly off her starboard bow, leading a line of ships during Exercise Joint Warrior. Astern of her follow RFA Mounts Bay, HMS Illustrious and the US Navy fleet oiler USNS Leroy Grumman, spread out across a deep blue sea on a clear, bright day. Her forward close-in weapon mounting, anchors and the two satellite domes either side of her mast are sharp in the foreground.
Bulwark had taken over from her sister Albion as the Royal Navy's fleet flagship in October 2011, and later in 2012 she provided maritime security for the Olympic sailing events at Weymouth and Portland. She went on to sail with the Response Force Task Group on its Cougar deployments and, in 2015, rescued thousands of migrants in the Mediterranean. In November 2024 the government announced that she and Albion would be retired early.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
