HMS Courageous S50 Churchill Class Submarine Photo Print
HMS Courageous (S50), a Royal Navy Churchill Class submarine, driving hard across a deep blue open sea, with a wide sheet of white foam rolling back from her bow along both sides of the hull. Seen from her port side with the bow to the left, she shows red draught marks near the bow, two masts raised above the fin and two figures on the bridge. The sky is bright with a line of fair-weather cloud along the horizon in this undated colour photograph.
Churchill, Conqueror and Courageous made up the Churchill class, which with the Valiant class formed the second generation of British nuclear-powered fleet submarines after Dreadnought. Nuclear power let them hold high speeds dived for long periods, a great advantage over diesel boats when escorting task groups or trailing fast targets. Their main armament was torpedoes fired from six bow tubes.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
