HMS Defender D36 Type 45 Destroyer January 2020 Photo Print
HMS Defender (D36), a Royal Navy Type 45 destroyer, makes steady way across calm, sunlit water in the Indian Ocean on 30 January 2020, her port side and D36 pennant facing the camera under a cloudless sky. Her black-topped main mast and the angular box of the long-range radar stand out clearly behind the bridge, and a thin line of wake trails from her quarter.
At the time she was patrolling with Combined Task Force 150, the coalition force working against smuggling off the Makran coast. That same day her boarding teams, guided to a suspect dhow by the ship's Wildcat helicopter, seized 2,420 kg of hashish in 119 bags, the second drugs haul of her deployment. Seizures like this cut off a source of funding for criminal and terrorist groups in the region.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
