HMS Dragon D35 Type 45 Destroyer 25 March 2026 At Sea Photo Print
HMS Dragon (D35), a Royal Navy Type 45 destroyer, cuts through a calm blue Mediterranean on 25 March 2026. Her own Wildcat helicopter took this photo from high off her port bow during a photographic exercise near Cyprus. The steep angle looks down across her forecastle, the gun and the missile silo ahead of the bridge, with a broad white wake spreading astern.
The Type 45 is built around the Sea Viper air defence system. The Sampson radar in the spherical dome on her foremast guides Aster missiles fired from the vertical silo on her forecastle. The long range search radar on her after mast looks far beyond the horizon, so one ship can shield a whole task group from air attack.

We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
