HMS Forth P222 River Class Patrol Ship February 2020 Photo Print
HMS Forth (P222), a Royal Navy River Class offshore patrol vessel, is seen from high above her berth at Mare Harbour, Falkland Islands, in February 2020, in an aerial view taken by a remotely piloted camera. She lies against large black fenders at the end of a long steel walkway, and parked vehicles and a generator on the jetty beside her, with a lone figure on her flight deck, give a sense of scale. Beyond her the grey water of the inlet stretches out to low, flat islands, and a red-hulled vessel lies at a second jetty in the distance.
Stationed permanently in the South Atlantic from early 2020, Forth has done far more than guard the Falklands coastline. In April 2021 she carried COVID-19 vaccines some 2,500 miles from the Falklands to the remote island of Tristan da Cunha, keeping them in closely monitored fridges throughout the voyage. In December 2025 she served as flagship for Operation Southern Sovereignty, a tri-service exercise across the South Atlantic, visiting Possession Bay, Stromness Harbour and King Edward Point in South Georgia.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
Your order will be crafted by award-winning framing technicians based in central England, with decades of combined experience. Using the finest FUJI professional photographic papers and premium materials, they ensure exceptional print and frame quality.
Our hand-picked craftsmen and women work with state-of-the-art printing and cutting equipment, yet every frame is still assembled by hand and subject to rigorous quality checks. Their dedication consistently results in outstanding work, appreciated by many returning customers.
