HMS Herald H138 Hecla Class Survey Vessel c1996 White Hull Port Side Photo Print
HMS Herald (H138), a Royal Navy Hecla Class survey vessel, makes steady way through a lightly ruffled grey sea, seen from above on her port side with her bow to the left. She is in white survey livery with a buff funnel and mast, a black boot topping and a survey launch stowed in its davits abaft the funnel. A long, low bow wave runs down her side under a pale, featureless sky, and the listing dates the photo to about 1996.
In the Falklands War of 1982 Herald served under the Red Cross as a hospital ship, ferrying casualties to Montevideo in Uruguay for their onward journey home. She went back south in 1983 to serve as the South Atlantic guardship.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
