HMS Hurworth M39 Hunt Class Mine Warfare Vessel 28 April 2004 Photo Print
HMS Hurworth (M39), a Hunt Class mine countermeasures vessel, leans into a tight turn on 28 April 2004, taken from the air with a broad arc of foaming wake curling away behind her stern. The high angle looks down on her forecastle gun, the orange floats and cable reels on her quarterdeck, and a White Ensign flying from the mast.
The photograph comes from a run of drills at sea, among them a gunnery exercise and a helicopter winching exercise, carried out in the run up to her Basic Operational Sea Training. That training, set by Flag Officer Sea Training, tests a ship's company in everything from firefighting and damage control to fighting the ship, and every Royal Navy vessel must pass it before being declared ready for operations.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
