HMS Invincible R05 Invincible Class Aircraft Carrier October 1991 Photo Print
HMS Invincible (R05), a Royal Navy Invincible Class aircraft carrier, is seen from high above on 7 October 1991, steaming across deep blue water with her wake spreading out astern. From this height the whole flight deck is laid out below, with its markings, a few aircraft parked along it, the island with its two funnels and the ski jump at the bow, and a flag streaming from the mast.
Later in the 1990s Invincible was sent to the Gulf in 1998 as tension with Iraq rose, and in 1999 her Sea Harriers flew over Kosovo during the NATO air campaign. She was paid off in 2005 after a quarter of a century of service and kept in reserve at Portsmouth. In 2011 she was sold for scrap and towed to Turkey for breaking.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
