HMS Invincible R05 Invincible Class Aircraft Carrier February 1990 High Port View Photo Print
HMS Invincible (R05), a Royal Navy Invincible Class aircraft carrier, in black and white during FleetEx 90 on 4 February 1990, looking down on her port side from a high angle. Low sunlight throws the shadows of her island and masts right across the flight deck, where a helicopter sits amidships with Sea Harriers ranged aft.
In the 1990s Invincible saw a busy run of operations. She flew Sea Harrier patrols over Bosnia from the Adriatic in the mid-1990s, deployed to the Gulf in 1998 with RAF Harrier GR7s embarked alongside her Sea Harriers, and in 1999 returned to the Adriatic during the Kosovo campaign.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
