HMS Iron Duke F234 Type 23 Frigate July 2016 Photo Print
HMS Iron Duke (F234), a Royal Navy Type 23 frigate, glides into Portsmouth Harbour on 7 July 2016, her starboard side towards the camera and her ship's company lining the rails from forecastle to flight deck. Signal flags fly from the yardarm under a pale overcast sky, a green channel marker post stands in the foreground and a small red buoy floats in the distance astern of her.
She was coming home after 180 days away with Standing NATO Maritime Group 1, a deployment of two halves spent first in the cold, rough seas off Norway and then in the calmer Baltic, covering more than 22,500 nautical miles. At the end of May 2016 she also joined HMS Duncan and the German frigate Brandenburg for the wreath laying at sea over the Jutland battle site, a hundred years after her battleship namesake led the Grand Fleet there.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
