HMS Kedleston M1153 Ton Class Minesweeper Photo Print
HMS Kedleston (M1153), a Royal Navy Ton Class minesweeper, lies at anchor in open water with her port side towards the camera, the Union Flag flying from her jackstaff and her ensign aft. A single gun is mounted on her forecastle, and yachts, a motor boat and a small inflatable move about her in choppy green water beneath broken cloud, with a low built-up shoreline beyond. The date of the photograph is not known.
Kedleston was laid down by William Pickersgill at Sunderland on 26 November 1952, launched on 21 December 1953 and completed on 2 July 1955, one of more than a hundred Ton Class ships built with wooden hulls and non-magnetic fittings to protect them from magnetic mines. After a refit at Devonport she recommissioned on 23 January 1969 for the Fishery Protection Squadron at Port Edgar, and on 4 September 1975 she arrested ten foreign trawlers in a single day off the North Yorkshire coast. She ended her service with the Northern Ireland Squadron from December 1988, paid off in 1991 and was towed to Bruges for breaking up in April 1992.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
Your order will be crafted by award-winning framing technicians based in central England, with decades of combined experience. Using the finest FUJI professional photographic papers and premium materials, they ensure exceptional print and frame quality.
Our hand-picked craftsmen and women work with state-of-the-art printing and cutting equipment, yet every frame is still assembled by hand and subject to rigorous quality checks. Their dedication consistently results in outstanding work, appreciated by many returning customers.
