HMS Lancaster F229 Type 23 Frigate 2015 Low Port Side View Photo Print
HMS Lancaster (F229), a Royal Navy Type 23 frigate, in company on 25 October 2015, shown along her port side as she approached Tema in Ghana. The Royal Fleet Auxiliary tanker Gold Rover lies on the horizon to the left and a second, smaller vessel sits further off to the right. The Duke of Lancaster's red banner with gold lions flies from her mast above a calm sea under a wide, bright sky.
Gold Rover first joined Lancaster in the Falkland Islands in June 2015, in the depths of the South Atlantic winter. The pair then crossed to the remote island of Tristan da Cunha and went on to a month-long maintenance period in South Africa before heading north. As a Royal Fleet Auxiliary ship, Gold Rover was crewed by civilian mariners and kept the frigate supplied with fuel and stores far from any home port.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
