HMS Lincoln F99 Salisbury Class Frigate Photo Print
HMS Lincoln (F99), a Royal Navy Salisbury Class frigate, comes almost straight towards the camera in this upright view taken from the air, her sharp bow cutting a white wave on either side and her port side just visible. The forward mast rises above the bridge, crowned with its radar aerials, and the twin 4.5 inch turret sits on the forecastle below. The photograph is undated.
Lincoln was paid off at Chatham in April 1974 and placed in reserve, but she was brought forward again for the Third Cod War of 1975 to 1976. A short refit fitted her for patrol work, with wooden padding around the bow to strengthen her for ramming. She was also the only ship of her class never fitted with stabilisers.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
