HMS Llandaff F61 Salisbury Class Frigate Photo Print
HMS Llandaff (F61), a Royal Navy Salisbury Class frigate, rides at a mooring buoy on an overcast day, with her cable running from the bow down to the buoy and a Union Flag at the jackstaff. The photo is taken on her starboard bow, with dark, steep hills behind her and calm water. It is undated.
Hawthorn Leslie built Llandaff at Hebburn on the Tyne. Countess Mountbatten launched her on 30 November 1955, but on 1 March 1956 the unfinished frigate broke from her moorings in a storm and collided with HMS Bermuda, HMS Russell and a merchant ship before she was brought under control. She was accepted into service on 11 April 1958 and was the first ship to go through the new Flag Officer Sea Training organisation at Portland.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
