HMS Llandaff F61 Salisbury Class Frigate Underway Port Side View Photo Print
HMS Llandaff (F61), a Royal Navy Salisbury Class frigate, heels hard over in a tight turn, seen from high above her port quarter as a broad, foaming wake curls away from her hull. Her name and pennant number are painted across the stern, where the ensign streams from its staff. This print is undated.
The Salisbury Class were built to direct fighter aircraft, so Llandaff carried a large set of radars on her two tall macks (combined masts and exhaust stacks). She shared her hull with the Leopard Class. Eight diesel engines gave her a top speed of about 24 knots. For armament she had a twin 4.5 inch gun forward, twin 40mm Bofors and a Squid anti-submarine mortar.

We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
