HMS Malaya 01 Queen Elizabeth Class Battleship Photo Print
HMS Malaya (01), a Queen Elizabeth Class battleship, lies at anchor in calm, lightly rippled water in a starboard side view taken between 1919 and 1921. A Union Flag flies from the jack staff forward and a White Ensign from her stern, while small groups of her ship's company stand along the forecastle and the upper deck beneath her tripod foremast and twin 15 inch turrets.
Malaya was built by Armstrong Whitworth at High Walker on the Tyne and launched in March 1915, her cost met by the government of the Federated Malay States, which is where her name came from. She joined the 5th Battle Squadron and fought at Jutland on 31 May 1916, where she was hit eight times and lost 65 men. On 17 November 1922 she took the last Ottoman Sultan, Mehmed VI, out of Constantinople into exile on Malta.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
