HMS Manchester D95 Type 42 Destroyer November 2003 Starboard Bow View Photo Print
HMS Manchester (D95), a Royal Navy Type 42 destroyer, at speed after a gunnery serial on 15 November 2003, on patrol in the Caribbean and photographed from the air off her starboard bow. The wider landscape frame takes in her full length, from the pennant D95 on her bow to the hangar and flight deck right aft, with the anchor cable ranged on the foc'sle and canvas mats still spread around the gun mounting. Her wash streams back across open water under scattered white cloud.
Manchester had taken over the Atlantic Patrol Task (North) from the frigate HMS Iron Duke in August 2003, sailing from Portsmouth on a deployment that would keep her away until the middle of December. Students from Britannia Royal Naval College at Dartmouth joined her in September for their initial sea training. Less than a week after this photograph she berthed at Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, where some of her company made straight for the Pusser's rum shop.

This print is ideal for those who sailed in HMS Manchester in the autumn of 2003, including the Dartmouth officers under training, and anyone with a connection to the Atlantic Patrol Task (North).

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
Your order will be crafted by award-winning framing technicians based in central England, with decades of combined experience. Using the finest FUJI professional photographic papers and premium materials, they ensure exceptional print and frame quality.
Our hand-picked craftsmen and women work with state-of-the-art printing and cutting equipment, yet every frame is still assembled by hand and subject to rigorous quality checks. Their dedication consistently results in outstanding work, appreciated by many returning customers.
