HMS Monmouth F235 Type 23 Frigate March 2011 Photo Print
HMS Monmouth (F235), a Type 23 frigate, drives down the English Channel on 28 March 2011 at the start of a deployment to the Middle East, shot from above and ahead on her port side with a heavy white wave peeling off her stem. Low sunlight breaks through the cloud and silvers the water beyond her. Along her forward deck the 4.5 inch gun, the Sea Wolf launcher behind it and the angled Harpoon tubes all stand out clearly.
That passage began a six month operational tour on counter piracy and maritime security work in the Indian Ocean and the Gulf of Aden. On 11 August 2011 she answered the merchant ship MV Caravos Horizon, which had been attacked by suspected pirates in the Red Sea, and sent her boarding teams across to free the vessel and her crew. Earlier the same month she had run navigational drills with two Kenyan Navy patrol craft in the Indian Ocean.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
