HMS Norfolk (D21) Royal Navy County Class Destroyer at Valletta, Malta, shown in a starboard beam view. The broadside composition records the complete length of the destroyer against her Mediterranean surroundings, with her twin funnels, substantial superstructure and long deck forming a commanding naval scene. This restored Royal Navy photo print combines the history of a well-known Cold War warship with Malta’s strong maritime connections, making it an appealing choice for military wall art and naval collections.

HMS Norfolk was the fourth Group 2 County Class Destroyer and the final ship of the class to be built. The fifth Royal Navy vessel to carry the name, she was laid down by Swan Hunter on 15th March 1966, launched by Lavinia, Duchess of Norfolk, on 16th November 1967 and commissioned on 7th March 1970. Sold to Chile in 1982, she served as Capitán Prat until 2006 before being sold for scrap.

This warship wall art photo print is ideal for Royal Navy, HMS Norfolk crew and family members, County Class Destroyer enthusiasts and collectors of Cold War naval history.
