HMS Norfolk F230 Type 23 Frigate November 2003 Photo Print
HMS Norfolk (F230), a Royal Navy Type 23 frigate, is on patrol in the Arabian Gulf, 16 November 2003, the camera in her embarked Lynx a little above and out on her starboard bow. Her flight deck aft is bare, the White Ensign stands stiff from the yardarm and a dark haze of exhaust drifts away astern. Whitecaps cover the deep green water and a long wake runs back from her quarter.
Norfolk paid off on 15 April 2005, just short of fifteen years in the Royal Navy, and was sold to Chile, one of three Type 23s to go the same way. She commissioned under the Chilean flag on 22 November 2006 as Almirante Cochrane and has now served longer in South American waters than she did under the White Ensign. The ship of the name before her, a County class guided missile destroyer, had been sold to Chile in 1982 and served there as Capitan Prat.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
