HMS Norfolk F230 Type 23 Frigate November 2004 Plymouth Photo Print
HMS Norfolk (F230), a Type 23 frigate, off Plymouth on 25 November 2004, on the last homecoming of her Royal Navy career, in a steep view taken from the air just ahead of her and a little to starboard, looking aft down the ship. Her decommissioning pennant streams from the masthead on a balloon, sailors are spaced around the forecastle and along the deck edges, and a small party is fallen in on the deck above the bridge, two of them in scarlet ceremonial tunics. Two tugs astern of her throw water into the air, and Smeaton's Tower marks the green of the Hoe behind.
She paid off at Devonport on 15 April 2005, with Admiral Sir Jonathon Band, her first commanding officer and by then Commander in Chief Fleet, as guest of honour. Chile bought her later that year and commissioned her on 22 November 2006 as Almirante Cochrane. Her sisters Grafton and Marlborough followed her south in the same sale, becoming Almirante Lynch and Almirante Condell.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
