HMS Ocean L12 Landing Platform Helicopter June 2015 BALTOPS Photo Print
HMS Ocean (L12), a Royal Navy landing platform helicopter, leading the BALTOPS formation in the Baltic on 8 June 2015, seen from the air from fine on her starboard bow with sunlight scattered across the water. Apache and Wildcat helicopters stand on her flight deck, and the ships of the multinational force follow astern in long lines that run back towards the horizon. Thin cloud lies high in an otherwise clear sky, with haze along the skyline.
BALTOPS is held in the Baltic every year, and the 2015 exercise drew forty nine ships from seventeen nations. Ocean was one of three Royal Navy ships taking part, with the frigate HMS Iron Duke and the minehunter HMS Quorn, and the three of them finished the fortnight at Kiel. The Defence Secretary flew out to her in the Baltic on 17 June to see the work at first hand. This photograph later won the Best Maritime Image Award in the Royal Navy's Peregrine Trophy competition for 2016.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
