HMS Prince of Wales R09 Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carrier June 2025 Bow View Photo Print
HMS Prince of Wales (R09), a Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carrier, off the coast of India on 15 June 2025, photographed from high overhead and fine on the bow, small against a wide grey ocean. The height opens her deck out into a broad slab, with jets ranged down her port edge, a shorter line of aircraft beside the pair of islands on the starboard side, a helicopter on a spot near the middle and small deck vehicles by the ski jump. Her wake spreads astern in a pale fan across the swell.
Her early years were interrupted in August 2022, when a coupling on her starboard shaft failed off the Isle of Wight as she set out for the United States. She was docked at Rosyth for repair and was back at sea the following year, crossing the Atlantic in the autumn of 2023 for F-35B trials off the American east coast. During that period a Mojave remotely piloted aircraft flew from her deck, the largest uncrewed aircraft to have operated from a Royal Navy carrier.

This print is ideal for members of her marine engineering department and her flight deck crews and anyone with a connection to her 2025 Indo-Pacific deployment.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
Your order will be crafted by award-winning framing technicians based in central England, with decades of combined experience. Using the finest FUJI professional photographic papers and premium materials, they ensure exceptional print and frame quality.
Our hand-picked craftsmen and women work with state-of-the-art printing and cutting equipment, yet every frame is still assembled by hand and subject to rigorous quality checks. Their dedication consistently results in outstanding work, appreciated by many returning customers.
