HMS Prince of Wales R09 Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carrier 18 July 2026 Photo Print
HMS Prince of Wales (R09), a Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carrier, from the air on 18 July 2026 during Neptune Strike 26-3 in the High North, looking aft along her deck from over the bow. F-35B Lightnings are spotted about the deck, two of them nose on at the after end, and strong sunlight brings up the deep blue of the water and the wind streaks running past her side.
This was an enhanced vigilance activity under NATO command across the High North and the Arctic. The frigate HMS Somerset and a French destroyer came under the command of the British carrier group for it, joining the destroyer HMS Duncan and the tanker RFA Tidespring, a Royal Fleet Auxiliary ship crewed by civilian mariners. She turned south soon afterwards and reached Portsmouth on 24 July 2026, closing the first phase of Operation Firecrest.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
