HMS Puma F34 Leopard Class Frigate Entering Harbour Photo Print
HMS Puma (F34), a Royal Navy Leopard Class frigate, from close ahead and a little onto her starboard bow, in an undated colour photograph whose dyes have faded with age. Her anchor is stowed in the hawse, exhaust smoke drifts back from the funnel, and men are standing at the guard rails along the forecastle and on the decks around the bridge, one of them right forward by the staff at the stem. Beyond her lie a low wooded shoreline, a jetty and a few small craft on flat water.
In October 1962 Puma was off Tristan da Cunha, helping to make the island ready again after the eruption of Queen Mary's Peak had forced its people out the year before. She struck a submerged rock there and damaged her port propeller, and she was docked down at Cape Town before permanent repairs were carried out at Gibraltar. Most of the islanders went home in 1963.

Framing & Mounting
We provide a bright white mount as standard. If you prefer an alternative colour, please contact us. Depending on the print's size and orientation, we may occasionally need to adjust the mount's size or shape to ensure the best presentation.
Our frame selection is extensive, and due to website limitations not every style can be listed. If you have a particular colour or design in mind, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss available options.
The final frame size and proportions may vary slightly based on the image ratio. Occasionally, frames may need to be a little taller or wider than the chosen size; however, they will never be smaller than the specified dimensions.
